Marge E. Lambert, 74, of Franklin, died at her home with her daughter in attendance on Aug.19, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Laconia on Nov. 29, 1941 the daughter of Alfred Webber and Irene (Krause) Webber. Marge was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1959. In the 1980's she worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Concord as a manager. She later worked as a hostess and bookkeeper for Oliver's Restaurant in Tilton and the 1776 Inn. Over the last six years, at Onions Pub and Restaurant as bookkeeper. Family members include her daughter, Melissa Foley of Franklin, grandchild, Jillian Roberts of Franklin, half-sisters Grace Roy of Tilton and Irene Watson of Colchester, CT, half-brothers: James and Thomas Watson, both of Middletown, CT, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Patricia Webber Chapman, grandchild, Natalie Sumner, and her beloved cat "Pumpkin." Marge will be missed and remembered by many people she has met along the way especially to those who shared the counter with her at the Soda Shoppe and knew her from Onions Pub and Oliver's. She was a loyal friend to many and often thought of others before herself. Marge always had a warm welcome for everyone and never judged people and accepted everyone. She was a great mom and grandmother who will be missed dearly. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016 from 4-6:00 pm at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield, NH. Burial will be private.
