Marilyn A. Sisco Manchester - Marilyn A. Sisco of Manchester passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2013. She was surrounded by family and friends during her long illness. Marilyn was born on December 2, 1926, in NY City. She is the daughter of Margaret L. Lehmann Brodek and John F. Brodek. Her mother passed away when she was young. She moved to Tilton with her dad and stepmother, Edith Brodek. She graduated in 1945 from Tilton-Northfield High School and went on to earn her diploma in Secretarial Studies from Laconia Business College in June of 1946. She was married to John M. Sisco in 1947. John passed away in 1987. Marilyn delighted in cookouts and going to lunch with family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Daily crossword puzzles kept her sharp and she enjoyed baseball. Family members include cousin, Marilyn Spearman, and her husband, J. Russell Spearman of Palm Harbor, FL (formerly of Sanbornton, NH), and Marilyn Spearman's daughter, Shari Lebreche, of Belmont, NH. Visits from her brother-in-law, Harvel Winkley, and nieces Sandra Arnone of Cape Cod, MA and Cairo, NY, Sarah Hemendinger of E. Greenwich, RI and Sue Steele of Troy, NY were a great comfort to her. She also has a nephew, Steve Winkley, of Avril Park, NY. Her best friends Connie Burnard, Louise Trottier, Fran & Bob Mears, and Joel Weinrebe were close to her heart. Marilyn worked for the State of NH Health & Human Services for four years then worked and retired from Bernard Tire Co. Services - The funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park Street, Northfield, NH with Rabi Robin Nafshi of Temple Beth Jacob , Concord, NH officiating.
