Marie Rita Pelletier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Rita Pelletier, who left us peacefully on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at the age of 90. Marie was a beloved resident of her hometown, Franklin, New Hampshire, where she was born on June 7th, 1935.

Marie dedicated her life to caring for others as a Nurse's Aide at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH. Her compassionate nature touched many lives and left a lasting impact on everyone she met.

In her earlier years, Marie served honorably in the United States Air Force, showcasing her dedication to her country. She was known for her adventurous spirit, often found exploring the great outdoors through her love for camping and hiking.

Marie is survived by her loving sons, Alan Pelletier and his wife Crystal, David Pelletier Sr. and his wife Tye; her cherished grandchildren, Joshua Pelletier and his wife Jenniffer, Jeremy Pelletier and his wife Falan, and David Pelletier Jr.; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Cassandra and her husband Tucker MacLaughlin, and Kyle Pelletier and his wife Shawnalee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marie’s family was always the center of her world, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will carry on in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna (Lavertu) Turgeon; her beloved spouse, Alphonse Pelletier Jr.; and her son, Brian Pelletier. She is also preceded by her sister-in-law and longtime friend, Pauline Hynes.

A funeral service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home in Franklin, NH on Monday, July 14th, 2025, at 10:00 am.
