Maria D. Bitsas

Maria D Bitsas, 85, of Peabody, MA, died unexpectedly on March 22, 2021.
She was born on October 10, 1935 in Kalamata, Greece, 1 of 8 children of the late Christos and Eleni Damianakos.
Maria emigrated from Greece to the United States in 1969 to give her children a better life.
She work at WJ Young Machinery in Peabody Ma for several years until her retirement. Even after retirement she still wanted to work and help at the family pizza shop, Tewksbury House of Pizza, in Tewksbury Ma. until they sold it after 30 years.
Maria loved walking especially at her favorite place, Marco Island Florida, Loved Animals and being around people.
She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Theodore Bitsas of Peabody MA, 2 sons, Arthur Bitsas and Chris Bitsas both of Londonderry NH and her favorite miniature pincher, Nikko.
Funeral services will be private at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home in Franklin NH.
