Lucille M. Masse

Lucille M. Masse, of West Franklin, 93 years old, was born on May 24, 1924 and died at home on July 17, 2017. She was the oldest daughter of Eugene and Laurette (Dubois) Mercier and widow of Arthur R. Masse who predeceased her in 1962.  She is survived by children, Franceen M. and husband, Robert H. Morasse, Jr., of Suncook, NH; Michael R. Masse and sister and brother-in-law Madeleine and G. Joseph Daigneault of Franklin as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Rachel Mercier.



She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and foster grandparent. She worked very hard and held various positions during her lifetime, among which were nurses' aide, housekeeper, waitress and foster grandparent. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading and knitting until failing eyesight and health prevented her from doing so. She also enjoyed the meals and trips sponsored by the TRIP Center.



There are no calling hours.  The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Paul Church of St. Gabriel Parish, Franklin, NH on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10 am.  Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Franklin, NH next to her beloved husband, Arthur R. Masse, following the Mass. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Roman Catholic Bishop of Manchester Clergy Fund or to New Hampshire Catholic Charities, 153 Ash Street, Manchester, NH 03104.  The Thibault-Neun Funeral Home of Franklin has care of the arrangements.
