Lucienne Hunt

Biography Northfield, NH Mrs. Lucienne L. Hunt, 96, of Northfield, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Feb. 25, 2016. She was born in Laconia on Dec. 1, 1919 the daughter of Alphonse and Alma (Roux) Levasseur. Lucienne was raised in Laconia and resided in Northfield for several years. Several years ago, she worked at her family's business Levasseur Men's Store in Laconia and later did alterations for O'Shea's. Lucienne volunteered with the Sisters of The Holy Cross at Merrimack County Nursing Home and Mountain Ridge Health Care Center. She assisted making rosary beads for many years. Lucienne was a communicant of St. Paul Church in Franklin and was the widow of George H. Hunt who died in 2008. Family members include her daughters: Anne Hunt of Northfield and Marguerite Abbott of Laconia, 7 grandchildren: Lucy Samuelson, Holly Abbott, Nicholas Abbott and wife Stephanie, Mary Lemay and husband Gary, Jennifer Abbott, Rick Beaudet, and Matthew Beaudet and wife Becca, 15 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, a sister, Florette Mavity of CA., and nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Alma Beaudet in 1996 and a son, Mark Hunt in 2007. A visiting hour will be held from 8:30-9:30 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass celebrating Lucienne's life will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, Franklin. Spring burial will be in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
