Lorraine (Croteau) Sorette. 83, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on Sept. 9, 2017.
God has taken an angel to be at his side in heaven.
Lorraine was born in Tilton on June 10, 1934 the daughter of Louis and Laura (Nault) Croteau.
She attended both Tilton-Northfield High School and Franklin High School, Class of 1954.
She was married to the love of her life, Andrew (Pete) Sorette, Jr. for 64 years.
Lorraine was a waitress in her younger years and later worked for Beede Electric Co. prior to retiring.
She loved dancing, playing cards with friends, shopping, gardening, and travelling with her husband Pete.
Lorraine was a caring soul and loved her family and was much loved by them.
She will truly be missed.
Family members include her husband Andrew "Pete" Sorette of Franklin, 5 children and 8 grandchildren. Sons with immediate family members are: Andrew J. Sorette III and daughter Danielle Brown, Michael Sorette and daughters Sarah and Megan, Ricky Sorette and son Nicholas, Bruce and wife Sharon Sorette and children Austin and Mackenzie, daughter Sharon (Sorette) Jacques and husband Allen Jacques and children Harrison Baker and Tayla Jacques, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers: Roland Croteau, Henry Croteau, Roger Croteau, and Paul Croteau, sisters: Theresa (Croteau) Hunt and Pauline (Croteau) Poisson.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass celebrating Lorraine's life will be on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017 at 11:00 at St. Paul Church, 110 School St., Franklin. Burial will follow at NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to Franklin Animal Shelter, 71 Punch Brook Rd., Franklin, NH 03235.
