Lorraine Doucet

Franklin, NH Mrs. Lorraine P. Doucet, 71, of Franklin, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on May 7, 2015. She was born in Wheelock, VT on Aug. 15, 1943 the daughter of Fredrick and Doris (Allen) Stone. Lorraine was raised in Vermont later living in California and Missouri before moving to NH in 1970. She was formerly employed at Lewis and Saunders in Laconia for several years and also assisted her husband operating the former Doucet's Market. Lorraine was active with AMPS, a miniature pinscher rescue. Family members include her husband, Richard G. Doucet of Franklin, three children, Tina Houten and her husband Mark of Franklin, twin sons, Donald Doucet of Franklin and Daniel Doucet and wife Rebecca of Exeter, 5 grandchildren, a great grandchild, 2 sisters: Lucille Livingston of UT and Nancy Barnes of CT, a brother, Richard Morse of CT, and nieces and nephews. A service will be held Friday, May 15, at 2:00 pm at NH Veterans Cemetery (Chapel) in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Assn., 1800 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03101.
