Linda Murray

Miss Linda J. Murray, 68, of Concord, died at Concord Hospital on Feb. 24, 2017 following a sudden illness. Linda was born in Montague, MA on Sept. 22, 1948 the daughter of Lester J. Murray and Mary T. (Sutherland) Murray. She resided with her sister, Cornelia, in Concord. Once Linda was placed in care of her sister and nieces, she blossomed into a happy loving woman who we all now have fond memories of. Linda enjoyed her many outings with Linda-Jean, but her favorite was to ride up to "The Old Man of The Mountain" even though, in her words, "he's in heaven now." Linda enjoyed having hot chocolate and marshmallows with her niece and guardian, Tammy. But most of all, she loved her coffee! Even more if she was able to sneak it while you weren't looking. Family members include her brother and sisters, William Murray of Salem, MA, Dianne Brawner and her husband Gary of White, GA, Anita Blodgett and husband David of Webster, and Cornelia Burleigh of Concord who was also Linda's constant companion and roommate. She also leaves behind her Aunt Barbara of Salem, MA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Lester and Mary, and her sister, Theresa Hoke-Abbott. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held at Park Cemetery in Tilton this spring. Paquette-Neun Funeral Home in Northfield is assisting Linda's family.
