Lewis Spaulding

Biography Lewis A. Spaulding, 76, of Franklin, NH, died at Hospice House in Concord on Feb. 9, 2017. He was born in Dover-Foxcroft, ME on Sept. 29, 1940 the son of Mahlon Randall Spaulding and Wilma Irene (Lunt) Spaulding. He served in the US Air Force from 1959 until 1963. Lewis was employed as a truck driver in the area most of his life lastly for Page St. Storage. He was an avid and longtime Celtics fan and enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books and watching John Wayne movies. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Dion of Franklin, 3 grandchildren: Amanda Fallon and husband Michael of Andover, MA, Diane Dion of Concord, and Christopher Dion of Franklin, 2 great grandchildren: Nicole Haley and Lilly Jean, siblings: Merwin Spaulding and wife Carole of Carthage, ME, Fredrick Spaulding and wife Diana of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, Marilyn White of Milford, NH, Marie Spaulding of Haverhill, MA, Myrna Alden of Kennebunk, ME, and Jean Phipps and husband Richard of Clarkesville, TN, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Jean (St. Pierre) Spaulding who died in 2014, a son Russell, a daughter, Tracy, and siblings Malcolm, Barbara, and Janice.
