Leroy Sharon

Biography LeRoy P. Sharon, 77, of Franklin, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on June 18, 2016. He was born in Plymouth on June 22, 1938 the son of Edward and Doris (Madore) Sharon. He lived in Ashland graduating from Ashland High School. Mr. Sharon later lived in Bristol and in Belmont for 20 years. He was a self-employed contractor for many years operating an independent construction company. Roy served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and spending time with his family. Family members include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn R. (Young) Sharon of Franklin, 4 children: Christina (Sharon) Russo of Franklin, Donald Sharon of Laconia, Jeffry Sharon of VT, and Michael Sharon of Laconia, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two children: Susan Gilbert in 1986 and Elbridge Miner II in 2008. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. Donations in memory of Mr. Sharon may be made to his family to assist with funeral expenses.
