Franklin, NH Mrs. Laurice P. Ripley, 96, of Franklin, died at Pleasantview in Concord on Dec. 18, 2013 with her granddaughter by her side. She was born in Franklin on April 5, 1917 the daughter of Azard and Cordelia (Pelletier) Brassard. Laurice resided in Franklin all of her life and was a graduate of Franklin High School. Several years ago, Laurice managed a book store in Franklin and later worked at a local florist. She enjoyed her time with her family and friends at Webster Lake and Rye Beach. A lady of great faith, Laurice was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a member and past Grand Regent of The Catholic Daughters of America Court Annie Nesmith. She was the widow of Edgar Ripley who died during World War II in 1944, and twin daughters, Anne Marie Roy who died in 1988 and Suzanne Douville who died in 1970. She is survived by her grandchild, Laurice Cheney and her husband Ralph of Gilmanton Iron Works, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Spring burial will be in Franklin Cemetery. A reception will follow at The Fr. Boutin Center, behind St. Mary of The Assumption Church, 16 Chestnut St., Tilton. Donations in memory of Laurice may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Rte. 101, Suite 8, Bedford, NH 03110.
