Franklin, NH Mrs. Kathy Lee Hogan, 60, of Franklin, died at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on Jan. 15, 2013 after a 5 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Kathy, daughter of George and Rachel (Ward) DeSilva, was born in Lowell, MA on April 28, 1952. She was raised in Tewksbury, MA, graduating from Tewksbury High School in 1971, and went on to attend Middlesex Community College to become a dental hygienist. She resided in Franklin for 34 years. Kathy was a teacher's aide at St. Mary School, employed at Dan's Pharmacy and lastly worked as a special education teacher at Franklin High School. Kathy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edward J. Hogan of Franklin, her daughter, Jen Olejarz and her husband Aaron of Auburn NH, her son, Jonathan Hogan and his wife Annemarie of Boston, MA, 2 grandchildren: Reed and Abrey Olejarz, a brother, Ralph DeSilva, sister in law Amy DeSilva of Ipswich, MA, great aunt, Millie Patterson of Tewksbury, brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Debbie Hogan of Chelmsford, MA, sister-in-law: Elaine Hogan of Tewksbury, and 3 nieces Visiting hours will be held Friday, Jan. 25th from 5-8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 26th at 11:00 am at the Congregational Christian Church, 25 South Main St., Franklin. Spring burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, in Franklin, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Kathy to the Kathy L.
