Kathleen Crane

Kathleen Crane died Tuesday, August 30 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a brief struggle with cancer. Kathleen lived most of her life in NH and was active professionally and personally in many civic and charitable endeavors. She grew up in Franklin, NH and returned there after studying and practicing nursing in Boston, MA. Kathleen served on the School Board, chaired the Franklin Business and Industrial Development Corporation and also the Franklin Regional Hospital Board. She was recognized with many awards for her civic leadership in Franklin. Much of her professional life was spent working for Easter Seals of NH where she had been a Vice President for Development and Director of Nursing. She was frequently recognized for her exceptional service and dedication to the mission of Easter Seals. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Kathleen is survived by her Mother Mary Crane of Franklin, NH, Her brother and sister in-law Christopher and Amy Crane of St Charles, Illinois, her sister and brother-in-law Mary and William Willoughby of Savannah, Georgia and her nieces and nephews; Cassandra, Darby, and Zachary Crane and Katie, Colleen and William Willoughby. She was pre-deceased by her father James J Crane Jr. and her brother James J Crane III. Funeral Services will be held at St Andrews Episcopal Church, 102 N Main St Manchester, NH on Saturday September 3 at 5:30 pm, The Very Rev'd William Willoughby officiating.
