Katherine Dawn Boucher

Katherine Dawn (Lantz) Boucher of Northfield NH passed away in her home on Friday November 24th from colon cancer.
Kate was born on September 10, 1975 in Millington TN. She graduated from Merrimack High School and went on to study computer science at Virginia Wesleyan University. While at Virginia Wesleyan she joined the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority where she made a number of lifelong friends.
After graduating with a degree in computer science Kate took a job as a software engineer at BAE Systems in Nashua NH. While working at BAE Systems she met her husband. Kate and Jason went on to have two children, Elizabeth and Margaret.
After the birth of her children Kate left her engineering career to be at home with them. She was active in the community, leading the local Girl Scout troop and being part of the PTA. When her girls were both in school Kate began to work as a librarian at the Hall Memorial Library in Northfield, allowing her more time to be close to her true love, books.
Kate is predeceased by her father Andrew Lantz and is survived by her husband Jason and her two daughters, Elizabeth and Margaret of Northfield, her mother Jean Lantz of Concord NH, her brothers Chris Lantz and his wife Kimberly Lantz of Houghton MI, and Andrew (Jay) Lantz and his wife Melissa Lantz of Concord NH, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hall Memorial Library or the Raven Gael Blaisdell Foundation, organizations that Kate was honored to be part of.
