Mrs. Juliette C. Cook, 80, of Concord, formerly of Franklin, died at Pleasant View Center in Concord on Aug. 21, 2014. She was born in Franklin on Sept. 24, 1933 the daughter of Lucien and Alma (Gilbert) Leahy. Juliette was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1952. She was employed at Spraque Electric in Concord for 25 years and later worked at Hannaford's in Concord. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering, and crocheting. She made blankets for many of her relatives. Juliette was a member and past officer of Concord VFW Post #1631 Ladies Auxiliary. She also served as a past officer on the State level. Family members include her children: Karen Barrick and her husband Edward of Suncook, Rene L. Cook of Concord, and Laura Martel and her husband Wayne of Allenstown, 4 grandchildren: Laura Langley, Edward J. Barrick, Jr., Melissa Cook, and Christopher Cook, 3 great grandchildren: Mikey Langley, Jonathan Langley, and Madison Barrick, a brother-in-law, Leo Lefebvre of Claremont, and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased a son, Douglas E. Cook, Jr., who died in 2012, a sister: Madeleine Lefebvre who died in 1995, and an infant brother, Roger. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 from 4-6:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Juliette's life will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26th at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
