Julia C. Davis, 86, of Franklin, died at Genesis of Laconia on July 1, 2021.
She was born in Franklin on March 20, 1935 the daughter of Charles and Caroline (Bil) Cunningham. Julia was raised in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School.
She was formerly employed by Atlantic Laminates in Franklin and Wyman-Gordon in Northfield. Julia was last employed as laundry supervisor of Pleasant View Center in Concord. Her husband, Archie W. Davis died in 1990.
She was the matriarch and loved her family dearly. Before starting her family her dream was to be an FBI investigator and she never missed an episode of NCIS. She also enjoyed traveling after her retirement in 2007 and visited several places including Mexico, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.
Julia's family has strong ties to the community, especially the fire department. Both of her parents served the fire department for many years.
Family members include her children: Larry D. Davis of Franklin, Danny W. Davis and wife Amy of Limestone, ME, Kathy A. Tilton (Bruce deceased) of Concord, and Randy P. Davis and wife Debbie of Franklin, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother, Charles M. Cunningham of Aberdeen MD, and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Judy M. Cline and Mary E. (Davis) Marion. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Lockwood and Carol Cunningham.
Per Julia's wishes there will be no calling hours or graveside service.
