John Salesky

Mr. John F. Salesky, 81, a resident of NH Veterans Home in Tilton, formerly of Manchester and Hudson NH died on April 7 2010.He was born in Lowell, MA on Jan. 27, 1929, the son of William and Mary (Bagley) Salesky. He was raised in Lowell, graduated from Lowell High School and attended Lowell Textile College.During the Korean Conflict, he served in the US Army as a Corporal. For many years he was employed as an engineer for the City of Manchester.A talented artisan, John played the piano, as well as the guitar and ukulele and he loved to sing. He also had numerous hobbies. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed many happy fishing and hunting trips with his good friend, Harold Seifert.Family members include a brother, Edward Salesky and his wife Carol of Hudson, with whom John previously made his home., and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Coughlin.Private funeral services and interment were held.
