Mr. John "Jack" Manning Nevin, 84, of Salisbury, died at NH Veterans Home in Tilton on Aug. 1, 2018.
Jack was born in Boston on Oct. 28, 1933. He was raised in Woodstock, VT . He later resided in Brewster, MA and graduated from Orleans High School in 1951.
He served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War.
Jack resided in Salisbury for over 40 years.
He worked as a truck driver for many years employed by Jack Lewis in Concord and Pembroke Towing.
Jack was a life member of Franklin VFW Post 1698.
Family members include his wife of 61 years, Jacqueline (Remillard) Nevin of Salisbury, 3 children: Jolene Neri and husband Jim of Hampstead, NC, Jay Nevin and wife Michele of Franklin, and Jeffrey Nevin of Webster, 4 grandchildren: Katherine Olerio, Deric Nevin, Danyelle Nevin, and John Michael Nevin, great grandchildren: Michael, Jade, Jasmine, a brother: Neal Nevin and wife Paulette of Cape Cod, and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 from 6-8:00 pm.
A service will be held at NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, on Friday, Aug. 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
