Jesse Clayton Carroll

Mr. Jesse Clayton Carroll, 91, of Franklin, NH died at Merrimack Nursing Home on Dec. 17, 2017.
He was born and raised in Wananish, NC, son of JJ Carroll and Janie (Piner) Carroll.
Jesse moved to upstate NY where he met his wife Rachel. They moved to Franklin in 1953.
Jesse served in the US Army and Reserve from 1951 until Sept. 4, 1956.
He worked at JP Stevens from 1953 until1970, LW Packard in Ashland until 1993, and lastly as greeter at Tilton Wal-Mart for 6 years.
He was a member of St. Gabriel Parish, Whiteman Davidson American Legion Post 49, and was a former member of the Polish Home Assn.
Family members include his wife of 66 years, Rachel (Marceau) of Boscawen, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William, James, and Henry, and a sister, Ella Mae Inman.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, from 4-6 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin Fr., Franklin, NH. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday. Dec 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at
St. Paul Church (St Gabriel Parish), 110 School St., Franklin. Spring burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
