James Soter

Franklin, NH James T. Soter, 87, of Franklin, died at Concord Hospital on Feb. 7, 2012. He was born in Franklin on Oct. 4, 1924 the son of Theodore J. Soter and Katherine (Lazar) Soter. Mr. Soter resided in Franklin most of his life. During World War II, he served in the US Army. Mr. Soter was last employed by Webster Valve in Franklin for 22 years prior to retiring. Family members include his son, Angelo T. Soter and his wife Urania of Brooklyn, NY, 2 granddaughters, Effimia Soter and Sultana Soter, of Brooklyn, a sister, Virginia Mitro of Quincy, MA, and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Theodore ""Ted"" Soter and a sister, Victoria Largo. Visiting hours will be held Thursday (Feb. 9, 2012) from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held Thursday (Feb. 9th) at 1:00 pm at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, S. Sulloway St., Franklin. Spring burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
