James (“Jim”) Hunt left this world peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the age of 71. He was born the son of Theresa (Croteau) Hunt and Robert Hunt (both deceased).
Jim attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, followed by Bishop Brady High School, and moved on to attend Laconia Community College where he followed his career path as a master electrician. He was employed by Street Electric of Meredith, NH and Stello’s of Nashua, NH.
Jim was an avid car enthusiast, with a vast knowledge of cars since a young age. Over the years having acquired muscle cars, antique cars, trucks, he enjoyed working on them and attending car shows.
He leaves behind his three siblings: Steve Hunt, Cindy Hunt/Steven Lemire and Diane (Hunt) Cross/Robert Cross and nephews Eric and Kyle Cross. In addition several cousins, friends and an uncle.
It is with a heavy heart that we have lost Jim, and a shout out to everyone who kept in touch with Jim during his declining health. Being a very private and humble man, at Jim’s request there will be no calling hours, Catholic mass or celebration of his life. Jim’s final resting place will be at St. John’s Cemetery, Sanborn Road, Tilton, NH.
Donations can be made in Jim’s memory to Bayata Hospice, 22 Bridge St., #7, Concord, NH 03301.
