James Bryson

Mr. James P. Bryson, 77, of Tilton, died at his home on March 29, 2011 after a long illness. He was born in Franklin on June 13, 1933 the son of Louis and Florence (Jordan) Bryson. Mr. Bryson was raised in Franklin and resided in Tilton for several years. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1951 until 1954. Several years ago, he was employed as a long-distant truck driver for Petramore Trucking. He also worked for MA Crowley and Mark St. Germaine. Mr. Bryson worked as a heavy equipment operator for RD Edmunds in Franklin until retiring due to his health. He was a past member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks, VFW Post 1698, and the Whiteman- Davidson American Legion Post #49. Family members include his wife of 39 years, Martha (Cruz) Bryson of Tilton, daughters: Carol Sheehan & husband Michael of Northfield, Bunny Roger & husband George of Tilton, Shari Murphy & husband Chris of Reed, KY, Mary Jo Robichaud & husband Steve of Northfield, Jeannie Huckins & husband Ronald of Northfield, Teanna Bryson of Tilton, and Donna Dionne of Franklin, 2 sons: James and Phillip Bryson, both of Berlin, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a brother: Butch Bryson of Plymouth, 2 sisters: Ruth Richardson of Thornton and Esther Cote of TN, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Larry Bryson. Funeral services with military honors will be held Friday, April 1st at 10 am at the NH Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Boscawen.
