Franklin, NH?. Mrs. Jacqueline ""Jackie"" M. Keating, 77, of Franklin, died at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 15, 2010. She was born in Laconia on Feb. 3, 1933 the daughter of Clarence and Ernestine (St. Pierre) Sheehan. Jackie was raised in Laconia and was a graduate of Laconia High School Class of 1951. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Notre Dame School of Nursing in Manchester and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from St. Louis University. Upon graduation, she taught at Bishop DeGoesbriand Hospital in Burlington, VT where she was a clinical instructor. She began working at Franklin Regional Hospital in 1974 and retired after 24 years of service. She performed many duties at FRH including Nursing Supervisor and OB Head Nurse. Jackie was a member of the FRH Auxiliary and also volunteered at the hospital. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a member of the Ecumenical Group. Jackie also volunteered at the Twin Rivers Foods Pantry and was a member of the former Court Annie Nesmith of Catholic Daughters of America. Family members include her husband of 49 years, Michael J. Keating of Franklin; 5 children: Anne Keating and Timothy Keating, both of Manchester; Kathleen Stevens and husband George of Milford; Patrick Keating and wife Julie Zuo of Palo Alto, CA; and Margaret Hughes and husband Robert of North Berwick, ME; 2 grandchildren, Michael David Hughes and Grace Anne Hughes; a sister, Charlotte Jaskolka of Manchester; and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010 from 2-5:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 19th at 10:30 am in St. Paul Church. Burial will follow in NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
