Franklin, NH? Irene Pouliot Maynard LaBraney, 91, formerly of Franklin, died June 4, 2010 following a short period of declining health while in Lake Havasu, AZ. Born and raised in Franklin, she is the daughter of Olivine and Joseph Pouliot. Mrs. LaBraney was raised in Franklin and graduated from St. Mary School. She had several jobs during her youth. During World War II, she served at the Army PX/Canteen at Cape Cod. Returning back to Franklin, she most enjoyed her 25 years working at Franklin Regional Hospital. A devote Catholic, she was a member of St. Paul Church and was a counselor for the Junior Catholic Daughters of America. Irene loved to bowl and for years was a member of a trophy winning team. She is best remembered always with a smile. Mrs. LaBraney was predeceased by her husband, Roland A. Maynard who died in 1974 and Oscar LaBraney who died in 1994. Family members include 2 daughters: Marilyn Argus of Lake Havasu City, AZ, and Lorraine Hall and her husband Robert Hall of Goffstown, a brother, Augustine Pouliot of FL, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 19th at 10 am in St. Paul Church, School St., Franklin with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
