Holly Eileen (Morse) Cilley, a wife, loving mother, best friend and beloved resident of Northfield, NH, passed away peacefully at her home with her family on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Franklin, NH on Sunday, August 25,1946, Holly was the cherished daughter of the late Richard Stuart Morse and Marjorie Louise (Entwistle) Morse of Tilton, NH.
Holly grew up in Tilton, NH and graduated from Tilton Northfield High School in 1964. She later moved to Northfield where she made her home of over 50 years. She was employed by Pike Industries in Tilton, NH and Penny Pitou Travel in Laconia, NH. Holly had a great love of the ocean and spending summers at their place in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. Holly had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and have a good time with family and friends.
Holly was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and the family will forever be grateful for the sisters who took turns coming by during week to feed Holly lunch while providing love, caring and companionship.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Granite VNA Hospice for their care of Holly and a very special thank you to her LNA, Brittany, who was with Holly for the duration.
Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Joe Morgan of Northfield, stepchildren, Roy Cilley of Northfield, NH, Bruce Cilley of Barrington, NH, Bonnie Chapman of Lisbon, CT and Timothy Cilley of Manchester, NH. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell C. Cilley, uncle Kenneth Cotton and her aunt Rachel Entwistle.
There are no services. Holly will be buried at a later date with her husband.
