H. Jean Stickney, 62, of Franklin, died at her home on May 14, 2010. She was born in Nashua on Dec. 9,1947 the daughter of Albert and Gladys (McCallum) Hirsch. She was raised in Pelham and later resided in Hudson, Manchester, and Tilton before moving to Franklin. Jean studied at Springfield College where she received her Master's Degree. As a foster mother, she assisted with raising and providing guidance to many children. She was formerly employed at WR Grace in Nashua and was employed by the State of NH Health and Human Services in Nashua. Family members include her husband, Robert K. Stickney of Franklin, 3 children: Patty Fennell of Orlando, FL, Karen Morton of Tyngsboro, MA, and Christopher Fennell of Manchester, several grandchildren, a great grandchild, 3 sisters: Gert Johnson of Bedford, Barbara Lantagne of Gilford, and Patti O'Connor of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Eric Fennell. Visiting hours will be Wednesday (May 19th) from 10-11:00 am at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in NH State Veterans Cemetery, Rte. 3, Boscawen.
