Mrs. Grave Y. Cunningham, 86, of Concord, died at Whitaker Place in Penacook on Jan. 23, 2016. Grace was born in Harrisburg, PA on Dec. 14, 1929 the daughter of Harry and Leona (Embich) Fornwalt. She resided in Lebanon, PA for several years and graduated from Lebanon High School. She later resided in Concord and Northfield. She served as a sergeant in the US Army (WAC) and a medical technician from 1949 until 1952. Grave worked for several federal agencies including the Dept. of Defense, Small Business Administration, and the US Dept. of Agriculture in Concord where she retired from in 1994. Grace was a life member of Franklin VFW Post 1698, Franklin VFW Ladies Aux., and the Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post 49 in Northfield. She is the widow of Maurice J. Johnson and her second husband, Earl B. Cunningham. Family members include her daughters: Grace LyNette Flood and her husband Charlie of Philadelphia, Elaine Marie Vitanza and husband Michael of Philadelphia, close friends, Rita and Tim Heath of Franklin, grandchildren: Charlie, Lauren, Dawn, Eddie, Brian, David, and Eric, a great grandchild, Kayla, and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Grace was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Jean Matherly in 2015. Services will be private and burial is in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, PA.
