Gertrude Hoadley

Tilton, NH Mrs. Gertrude E. Hoadley, 85, of Tilton, died at her home on May 26, 2013. She was born in Croydon, NH on April 19, 1928 the daughter of Joseph and Lottie (Adjdon) Benoit. Gertrude was raised in Croydon and resided in the Tilton area for several years. She was an excellent seamstress making many items for her family and friends as well as taking in work. She enjoyed knitting. Several years ago, she attended the Franklin Baptist Church and also taught Sunday School there. Her husband, William G. Hoadley, died in 2004. Family members include 3 daughters, Wilhemina Millis of Canterbury, Debbie Rines of Hooksett, and Ellen Hoadley of Boscawen, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Myrtle Pollari of Guild, NH and a brother, Stanley Benoit of FL, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday (May 31st) morning at 10 am in Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield with burial in Park Cemetery.
