Obituary

It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Gerald (Jerry) Silver, known to many as Mr. Jerry, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who passed away on February 14th, 2026.

Born in Franklin N.H., Jerry spent many years contributing to the state, retiring from the Concord State Prison. Jerry had many interest, including Softball, coin collecting, hunting, antique cars, playing pool and poker, doing puzzles, and most of all dancing with his wife.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Gloria, who was by his side through thick and thin, caring for him with his many disabilities. He was a man who touched the lives of many, with his warm spirit, and unwavering support. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, and kind heart. He served his country in the National Guard, and the Army Reserves for many years.

Jerry is survived by his wife Gloria, son Chris (Donna), of Salisbury, daughter Jackie (Mark) of Northfield, and sons Randy (Holly) of Boscawen, and Dan (Kim) of Penacook., Sister Judy Jones (Allan) of Webster. Eight Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, and one on the way. He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Marguerite (Harbour) Silver, twin sister Geraldine, sister Barbara, and brother Donnie.

There will be no calling hours. There will be a family service in the Spring at the convenience of the family. Let us remember him not with sadness, but with love and laughter he shared with us all. Rest in peace. Your family loves you so very much.
