George V. Gourgiotis, 55, of Northfield, died at his home on July 5, 2016. George was born in Vouzion Domokou, Greece on Sept. 9, 1960 to Vassilios and Evangelia (Karveli) Gourgiotis. He came to the U.S. in 1988 after meeting his wife. After many years of living in the U.S., George proudly became an American citizen in July 2003. George was a very driven man who taught himself how to read, write, and speak English. He worked for 28 years as a general manager of Dunkin Donuts in Tilton. George enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Lochmere Country Club since it's opening. He also enjoyed his family and friends, playing poker, soccer, and making homemade wine. He was truly the most caring, happy, and loving person; he had such a big heart and generously shared it with so many people. His legacy will live on through his wife of 28 years, Marianne (D'Abbraccio) Gourgiotis of Northfield, two children, William G. Gourgiotis of Laconia, and Sophia Gourgiotis and her wife, Tiffany, of Tampa, FL, a brother, Ilias Gourgiotis of Greece, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield. The burial will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 12:00pm at Park Cemetery.
