Gail Ann Robie

December 12, 1953 — May 14, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we share the loss of Gail (Johnson) Robie, 70, of Meredith, NH. Gail passed away unexpectedly at Concord Hospital on May 14, 2024.
Gail Ann Robie was born on December 12,1953 to Francis Johnson and Genevieve Woods. She was raised in Franklin, NH where she grew up with a large extended family.
After graduating from Franklin High School, Gail set her sights on Boston. She attended Bay State College and proudly earned her degree in business/accounting. It wasn't long before Gail married and settled back into NH. She resided in the quaint little neighborhood of Meredith Center and was over the moon to welcome two beautiful daughters to the family.
Gail was diligent in her career and worked for numerous companies up until her passing, but her pride and joy was raising her daughters, Ashley and Lindsay. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them. Whether it was a recital, game or a PTO meeting, Gail was present. When the girls needed a scout leader, she stepped up to the plate. Standing in long lines at Disney in the hot Florida sun, she did it. If it was important to her girls, she was going to make it happen.
Gail had a compassionate soul. Always accepting of others and their situations. Everyone was welcomed in her home, whether it was the girl's friends, a stray animal or even the occasional stranger. Some stayed for a day and others months on end, but she treated them all like family. Even when Gail was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she continued to care for everyone else. She was a fighter in that battle and any other obstacles that came her way in life.
As the years rolled by, Gail was lucky enough to add two sons-in-law to the family. They lived to badger her all in good fun, as long as it ended in a great big bear hug. Nothing melted her heart more than the birth of her two grandsons, Lincoln and Parker. She was blessed to have spent so much time with them, whether it be on a tropical vacation or just watching a show together. Many memories together with their GiGi for the boys to cherish.
Gail loved to travel in her free time with her friends and family. She worked hard, but always made time for some sun and sand. She was lucky enough to travel to such places as Spain, Aruba, Turks and Caicos, Costa Rica and Hawaii, just to name a few. But Gail wasn't always about sand in her toes and a drink in her hand. She loved nothing more than to sit by a campfire with her daughters and grandsons in the woods. So many memories under the stars.
Gail will be remembered for her hilarious sense of humor and infectious laugh. She was definitely a storyteller. Many times these recollections left her audiences in stitches, tears or confusion. She had the ability to make anyone smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Gail leaves behind her daughter, Ashley (Robie) Quinn and husband Will Quinn of North Sandwich, daughter Lindsay (Robie) Hann and husband Corey Hann of Meredith, grandsons Lincoln and Parker Hann of Meredith. Gail also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and the dearest of friends.
Gail is predeceased by her parents, Francis Johnson and Genevieve Woods.
