November 24, 1934 — November 30, 2016

Floyd Houston Jenkins, Sr. 82, went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2016 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet. Floyd (Bud) was a lifetime resident of Merrimack and Dunbarton, NH. Floyd and his family attended the Merrimack Congregational Church in Merrimack, NH and in the most recent years, he and Janet attended the Hillside Baptist Church, Pembroke NH. Floyd was born in Augusta, AR on November 24th 1934. He was a loving father to seven sons, 6 daughters-in-laws, 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren: Floyd H Jr. and his wife Linda of CA Jeffrey and his wife Cheryl of NM Kevin of NH David and his wife Elizabeth of NH Daniel and his wife Kimberly of SC Peter and his wife Julie of NH Paul and his wife Annikka of TN Floyd was a family man and a man of faith who worked hard at whatever challenge he encountered and loved what he accomplished. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. Floyd then worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller for 34 years. Floyd was an exceptional golfer, bowler, skier and pool player. He enjoyed intellectual pursuits and hobbies such as chess and numerous card games, maple sugaring, gardening and woodworking. Funeral Services will be Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home. 104 Park St. Northfield, NH. 03276. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hillside Baptist Church in Pembroke, NH. We also would like to thank the Veterans Home for their wonderful care they provided.
