Florence Fleury

Mrs. Florence M. Fleury, 83, of Franklin, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Dec. 14, 2016. She was born in Hartland, VT on May 6, 1933 the daughter of Philip Jackson Downes and Daisy Belle (Sawyer) Downes. Her family moved to Cilleyville, N.H. as a child where she was raised. Florence resided in Franklin for several years. She was employed at the Arwood Corp. for several years prior to retiring. Florence was a life member of Franklin VFW Post #1698 Ladies Auxiliary. When Florence retired she spent many years taking care of her pets. She loved reading and gardening, Just enjoying the outdoors. Family members include her children: Mary Ann Fleury of Franklin, Norman J. Fleury of Franklin, Dennis R. Fleury of Vancouver, BC, Ronald A. Fleury of Northfield, and David A. Fleury of Franklin, grandchildren: Dustin Fleury of Plymouth, Andrew and Laura Fleury of Vancouver B.C. and Christian Fleury of Northfield, siblings: Donald Downes and Chester Downes, both of TN, and Laura May Downes of Tilton, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, on Tuesday, Dec. 20th 2016 from 5-7 pm. Spring burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in East Andover.
