Florence Croteau

Franklin, NH Mrs. Florence B. Croteau, 92, of Franklin, died at Merrimack County Nursing Home on Aug. 17, 2016. She was born in Franklin on April 25, 1924 the daughter of Henri and Eva (St. Louis) Prince. Florence resided in Franklin all of her life. She was formerly employed at Sulloway Hosiery and lastly at Tilton Dress Shop. Florence is the widow of Roland A. Croteau who died in 1984 and was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Quimby who died in 2008. She was also predeceased by brothers Robert and Jean Paul Prince, and sisters Marie Carignan and Flora Watts. Family members include her grandson, Corey Quimby of Newport, great granddaughter, Alexis Quimby of Newport, and a sister, Rose LaPointe of Laconia, and nieces and nephews. A Mass celebrating Florence's life will he held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, School St., Franklin. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
