Edward Smith, Jr

Lochmere Mr. Edward L. Smith, Jr. 86. Of Lochmere, died at the Laconia Center on Dec. 1, 2014. Mr. Smith was born in Lochmere on Sept. 11, 1928 the son of Edward and Electa (White) Smith, Sr. He resided most of his life. Edward was legally blind and was a proud graduate of the Perkins School for the Blind. His wife, Janet (Huard) Smith, died in 2001. Funeral services and interment in Park Cemetery, Tilton, will be held in the spring. Paquette-Neun Funeral Home ( www.neunfuneralhomes.com ) in Northfield is assisting with arrangements.
