Douglas C. Dould, 64, of Tilton, died peacefully Wednesday at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with his family present.
He was born in Leominster, MA in Oct. 7, 1953 the son of John and Edith (Hayes) Dould. Doug resided in Tilton since 1964. He graduated from Winnisquam High School in 1971. He was a former member of Future Farmers of America and the New Hampshire Maple Producers. Doug worked as a Concrete Finisher for NATGUN of Haverhill MA for well over 20 years, where he traveled the country and formed long-lasting friendships.
Doug loved visiting the ocean, particularly Cape Cod where he spent many years of his childhood. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, raising geese, ducks and pheasants, and grilling for family and friends. Doug played the drums and a love for music. He would also spend his time in his sugar shack making maple syrup and teaching the craft to anyone who showed interest.
Doug's family members include a son, Douglas J. Dould and wife Amanda of Utah, a sister, Doreen C. Boisselle and husband Ray of Tilton, Grandsons, Calvin P. Center, Alex R. Dould, brother, John Cole and wife Becky, nephews, Aaron Hughes of Concord, John Dould of CA, Adam Hughes of CA, and Kevin Cole of VT.
Visiting hours will be Sunday (Oct.22,16)from2-4 pm at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home , 104 Park St., Northfield with a service beginning at 4:00 pm.
