Dorothy Thompson

Franklin, NHMrs. Dorothy K. Thompson, 91, of Franklin, died at Mtn Ridge Genesis Eldercare on Jan. 28, 2011.She was born in Franklin on Mar. 23. 1919 the daughter of Timothy and Harriet (Huntoon) Moynihan. Mrs. Thomspon was raised in Hardwick, VT and resided in Franklin since her marriage. She was a graduate of Hardwick Academy.Several years ago, she worked at the former Pinkham Supermarket and also Larry's Pastry Shop, both formerly in Franklin. Dorothy was the widow of Elwood L Thompson who died July 17, 2010.Family members include her daughters, Harriet England of New London, and Jean Thompson of Franklin, a grandson, Timothy England of Standish, ME, a sister, Marjorie Dunbar of E. Hardwick, VT, and nieces and nephews.Graveside funeral services will be held at Franklin Cemetery in the spring.Donations in memory of Mrs. Thompson may be made to a charity of one's choice.Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, of Franklin ( www.neunfuneralhomes.com ) is assisting with arrangements.
