Donna L. Love, 72, of Franklin, died unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 24, 2023.
She was born in Concord on Sept. 2, 1951 the daughter of Fred and Dorothy (Gullage) Love.
Donna was raised in Concord and attended both the Concord and Bishop Brady School Districts. Donna worked for various companies throughout her life, most notably Sprague Electric, The Country Living Center, Vernitron, Aavid Engineering, and also did private armed security and professional house cleaning.
Donna was a former longtime resident of Northfield and at one point ran for road agent there. She was an avid hunter, motorcycle enthusiast, Jill of all trades, a wonderful homemaker, and a great artist who used her energy to create something beautiful and meaningful to others. She had a green thumb like no other and could bring any plant back to life it you let her.
Her sense of humor and sarcasm, her selflessness and devotion to her family and loved ones are unmatched. Family was most important to her and she thoroughly enjoyed every moment she could with them. Donna was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. Mum, I love you.
Her family includes her daughter, Donna E. Lorden of Belmont, her son, David Veinote, Sr., her grandchildren, Aidan Lorden-Nault, Cali Malo, Kristina Veinote, Rebecca Day, David Veinote, Jr., Corey, Bethany and Ellora, her siblings: Jerry Love of Wentworth, Fred Love, Jr. of Tilton, And Marie Ballam of Loudon, and many nieces and nephews, her longtime and best friend, Jane Nault of Laconia.
She was predeceased by her parents, her late husband, William D. Lorden, and brothers Brian and David Love.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29th from 6-8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A service be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11:00 am. A gathering will follow for family and those close to Donna at her home.
