Donald Stankatis

Mr. Donald Anthony Stankatis, 72, of Tilton, died at his son's home on July 23, 2015. He was born in Lawrence, MA on May 10, 1943 and spent his childhood in North Andover, MA. Don worked as a Harness Horse Trainer and then as a Production Line Engineer for the latter part of his career. Don served in the US Air Force Reserves. He is survived by his wife, Jane Stankatis of Neck City, MO, former wife Carole Stankatis of Canterbury, NH, son Greg Stankatis and wife Janet of Graham, WA, son and significant other, Jeff Stankatis and Stacey Bickford of Belmont, daughter Stephanie Galambos and husband Steve of Canterbury, son Jon Stankatis and wife Sara of Northfield, 14 grandchildren, and many foster children and grandchildren. Don touched the hearts of many people and had a great love for animals. Family and Friends are invited to attend an open house to celebrate Don's life, on Aug. 1, 2015 beginning at 12 noon at 625 Laconia Rd., Tilton.
