LACONIA---- Donald J. Piper, 71, took his last breath on August 18th, 2024, at Concord Hospital.
Donald was born on September 23rd, 1952, in Manchester, NH, son of the late Robert and Mary Piper.
Donald, who was also known as Don or Piper to his close friends and family was a jack of all trades, a little rough around the edges and very set in his ways but with a heart bigger then he was!! He spent most of his days building houses, siding, and scrapping for a living. He always worked for himself as he liked giving orders, not taking them. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking long rides up north to see the lakes and mountains. He had an unmeasurable love for his children and grandchildren. He always looked forward to his time with them. He was one of the kindest people and was always willing to help anyone if he was able to. He loved sports and never missed an opportunity to relax with a cold brew in his hand while watching either the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics or Bruins on T.V.
He had a smile that could make anyone’s day better but he also didn’t have a problem telling you just like it was whether you wanted to hear it or not. His sarcasm, quick wit, and sharp tongue was what made everyone love him so much. His kids say he was undeniably the most amazing man to walk the earth.
Don was predeceased by his son Patrick Warden and his brothers Robert Piper, and David Piper.
Donald is survived by his children Shyloe Piper and her god babies Asyiah and Anastasia of Laconia, NH; Tasha Stevens and her children Brendon, Evin, and Destiny of Laconia NH; Crystal Squeglia and her children Aria and Jasmine of Gilford, NH; Jennifer Piper-Doughty of Manchester, NH and her children Alexi, Courtney, and Brian Jr, all of Florida; Sarah Galimberti and her children, Kendra and Samantha of Franklin, NH; Jerecho of Laconia, NH; Tarance Piper and his son Michael of Laconia; NH. He was also survived by his sister Sylvia and her husband Jim of Manchester, NH; brother Ray Piper of Manchester, NH; his best friend and cousin Joanne Noury of Concord, NH and his aunt Simone and her husband Roger of Auburn, NH. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great grandchildren, and friends whom he adored.
Per Donalds wishes there will be no services at this time. The family will announce a date and time for a celebration of life to take place at Lake Chocorua in Tamworth, NH.
