Dawn Marie Hinxman (Grandizio), 51, of Northfield, New Hampshire passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 after a fierce battle with breast cancer.
Dawn was born in Elmer and raised in Franklinville, NJ. She was a 1989 graduate of Delsea Regional High School, Franklinville, NJ and earned her Associates Degree at Champlain College in Burlington, VT.
Dawn worked at Spaulding Academy in Northfield, NH for many years and cultivated many friendships during her time there. She also spent time working at Granite VNA where she met one of her very best friends. She has many close friends who came into her life through different jobs, her family's military service, and other journeys. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, shelling on the beach, walking her dog, crafting and spending time with her family.
Dawn is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Dwayne Hinxman, her devoted son and daughter, Hunter and Meagan Hinxman and her beloved German Shepard, Maya. Her mother Gloria J. and the late John A. Grandizio, her sister, Deborah Fischer (Bryan), and extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at the Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St, Northfield, NH. Funeral service and life celebration at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at 2:00pm at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dawn's memory to K9s for Warriors or Granite VNA of Concord, NH.
