Mrs. Dawn Lori Bachler, 60, of Franklin, died at Mtn. Ridge Health Care Center in Franklin on March 14, 2016 from complications of radiation necrosis. Dawn had been diagnosed with cancer in 1994. She was born in Winchester, MA on Sept. 27, 1955 the daughter of Donald and Lillian (Clay) Thompson. She was raised in Andover, MA and Derry, NH where she graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1972. She later lived in the Londonderry Green apartment complex which was the first Superfund site in NH in 1983. Dawn was a communicant of St. Gabriel Parish. Family members include her husband of 28 years, Robert Bachler of Franklin, four children: Michael Bachler and wife Elizabeth of Manchester, William Bachler and wife Catrina of Manchester, Elizabeth Graves and husband Jason of Franklin, and Thomas Bachler and wife Rebecca of Ft. Drum, NY, 11 grandchildren, 3 sisters: Sharon Ring of Auburn, NH, Sandra Lindquist and husband Steve of Center Conway, and Evelyn Reardon and husband Charlie of Plaistow, her brother, Scott Thompson and wife Dee of Ames, IA, and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a daughter, Amy Beckford who died in 1999. Visiting hour will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass celebrating Dawn's life will be Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10 am in St. Paul Church, Franklin. Burial will follow at NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, Donations in memory of Dawn may be made to St. Gabriel Roof Fund, PO Box 490, Franklin, NH 03235.
