David J. Carr, 64, recently of Tilton, passed away on Dec. 24, 2016 at Lakes Region General Hospital of complications related to ALS. Son of Constance "Connie" (Haslam) Carr and the late Robert John Carr, he was born on Jan. 19, 1952 and raised in Hanover graduating from Hanover High School in 1971. He had resided in Cornish, NH and Windsor, VT in recent years. He is survived by his mother, Connie, of Hanover, his daughter, Sarah Buzzell and her son Devon Morse of Claremont, his daughter, Alicia and her husband Johnny Hill and their children Carson and Jordyn, all of Tilton, his sister, Debbie and her husband William Lyon and their family of Canaan. He is also survived by his ex-wife Diana (Psorakis) Szacik of Belmont, and sister-in-law, Kate (Gordon) Carr of CT, cousins, nieces, nephews, especially Nancy (Carr) Reeves, Craig Lyon, and Geoff Carr, and his dog, Moca. He was predeceased by his father in 1994 and his brother, Paul, of CT, also of ALS in 2008. He retired from Dartmouth Medical School in 2008 after 25 years. An avid outdoorsman, he ran "Critter Relocation" after his retirement. He was a longtime member and past Exalted Ruler of the Lebanon Elks Lodge #2099. A Memorial Service will be held at the Elks Lodge, 150 Heater Rd., Lebanon, NH on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
