He was born on July 3, 1965 in Middletown, NJ the son of Alfred S. and Helen J. Mason. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Michelle Geiger, and brothers David and Steven Mason. He is survived his son Daniel Mason. He also leaves behind special friends. As a trained chef, he worked at Sizzler's in New Jersey before moving to New Hampshire where he worked at various restaurants. Dan enjoyed working with garden plants, cooking for others, had a great knowledge of the Bible, history, and trivia. He had an inveterate love for music. Music was his passion and he had boundless musical knowledge. Dan loved to sing and did so with various church choirs as well as many solo and duet performances. Dan spoke often of the years over the road as a truck driver. He was a food pantry volunteer for many years as well as a cook for local charitable Thanksgiving dinners. He attended Northfield-Tilton Congregational Church and Hope Community Chapel in West Franklin. Dan was a pied piper of animals, and adopted many a stray cat. He was a good friend to those who got to know him. There will be no visiting hours and a memorial service will be held at a later time.
