Daniel Macdonald, Jr

OBITUARY Daniel B. MacDonald, Jr., 66, formerly of Nashua, Weare, and Swanzey, NH, died at NH Veterans Home in Tilton on May 24, 2011. He was born in Providence the son of the late Daniel B. MacDonald Sr. and Helen (Foley) MacDonald. He also formerly resided in Cranston, RI. A graduate of Cranston High School East and the University of RI, he served in the US Army Medical Service in Vietnam, receiving the Army Commendation Medal. His career included pharmaceutical sales, computer sales training, and private sales consulting as Systematic Sales Solutions, earning awards and citations along the way. Dan was an avid sailor in the coastal RI area and an enthusiastic outdoorsman and marksman while living in NH for the past 30 years. Family members include two brothers: Steven G. MacDonald of Appleton, ME, and Michael G. MacDonald of Cranston, and a sister, Lisa A. Rastella of West Warwick, RI. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield.
