Dale Gutberlet

OBITUARY Mr. Dale D. Gutberlet, 47, of Franklin, died at his home on April 16, 2015. He was born in Parkersburg, WV, on April 2, 1968 the son of Glenda Gutberlet and Robert Smithberger. Dale was raised in Marietta, OH and resided in Athol, MA prior to moving to Franklin over 20 years ago. Years ago, he was hunting guide in Idaho. He was an arborist and formerly worked at Vegetation Control Services in Franklin and lastly for the City of Concord. Dale loved the outdoors, trees, wildlife, and following NASCAR and Ohio State sports. Family members include his wife of 14 years, Kathleen (Doucett) Gutberlet of Franklin, his mother, Glenda of Dayton, OH, a sister, Marie Kiley of Dayton, OH, 4 brothers, Robert Smithberger, Jr, Brent Smithberger, Barry Smithberger, and Drew Smithberger, all of Ohio, and three nephews, Brandon, Keegan, and Nolan. He was predeceased by a brother, Brian Smithberger. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin, NH 03235.
