Mrs. Corinne M. Doucette, 84, of Franklin, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Aug. 24, 2015. Corinne was born on Jan. 1, 1931 in Franklin the daughter of Aurel and Viney (Brecanier) Touchette. She was a lifelong Franklin resident and graduated from Franklin High School in 1948. She was formerly employed at the Tilton Dress Shop in Franklin and Beede Electric in Penacook. Corinne enjoyed needle work including knitting, quilting, and cross stitch. She and her husband enjoyed camping at Russell Pond Campground in Woodstock where they were campground hosts for many years. She was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was a former member of VFW Post #1698 Ladies Auxiliary. Family members include her husband of 64 years, George A. Doucette of Franklin, 3 children, Gary Doucette and wife Jane of Gilford, Scott Doucette and wife Lee Ann of Franklin, and Laurie Doucette and spouse Kristy Moen of Pembroke, 5 grandchildren: Lisa Foose and husband Shannon, Dawn Pelletier and husband Marty, Derek Doucette and wife Kieran, Desiree Smith and husband, Kenneth, and Dan Doucette and wife Alison, 3 great grandchildren, Destiny Foose, Amber Foose, and Nolan Smith, and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass celebrating Corinne's life will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at 10 am in St. Paul Church with burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery.
