Biography Northfield, NH Chester "Bud" G. Miller, Jr., 54, of Northfield, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Oct. 27, 2014. He was born in Franklin on Oct. 2, 1960 the son of Chester G. Miller, Sr. and Theresa (Griffin) Miller. He was raised in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1978. Bud also attended Laconia Tech. He formerly worked for Jameson Paving and Porter Paving. He also owned and operated Dr. Drain and was employed at Polyclad Laminates. Bud currently operated Miller Family Farm in Northfield. Family members include his wife of 27 years, Peggy (Loranger) Miller of Northfield, 2 children: Joshua Cross of Northfield and Amy Cross of Danbury, 3 grandchildren, Ashley Cross, Kaleb Dion, and Courtney Cross, 2 brothers: Skip (Robert) Miller and his wife Claire of Myrtle Beach, SC and David Miller of Ft. Myers, FL, his sister, Linda Doucett and her husband Bob of Franklin, his best friend, Al Woods of Franklin, and nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 from 12 noon until 2 pm at the Tilton-Northfield United Methodist Church, 400 West Main St., Tilton. A service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Concord VNA and Hospice, 30 Pillsbury St. Concord, NH 03301 or to Franklin Regional Hospital ICU, 15 Aiken Ave., Franklin, NH 03235.
