Chelsea Babe Young

Chelsea Babe Young died suddenly at her home in Northfield, NH on Thursday September 28th 2023.
Chelsea Babe Young started her life on January 2, 1990 as the first baby born at Franklin Regional Hospital that year and was featured in the paper as such, coincidentally she was also born on her grandfather’s Frank “Babe” Cross’s birthday earning his nickname as a middle name.
As a child she spent much of her time outside swimming and being an avid mudpie maker. She was a fun-loving child who enjoyed laughing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. As she got older, she joined the Girl Scouts organization which introduced her to many more people, adventures and opportunities. She learned new skills and life lessons that she continued to carry with her and use throughout her life. As an adult much of her time was spent listening to music, reading, crocheting and most of all hanging with her fur babies Porkie Pie and Kitty.
She is survived by her Madre Gina Cross Young, Sisters Amanda Young, Sheri Young. Niece Alexis Young, Nana Nora Young and Gary Dow of Belmont, NH along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is predeceased by her father Brian Owen Young. Grandfathers Babe Cross, Budge Young and Grandmother Claire Cross.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 at 5:00 at Whiteman-Davidson American Legion Post #49, 4 Park St., Northfield, NH. Paquette-Neun Funeral Home in Northfield is assisting with arrangements and an online guestbook is available at www.neunfuneralhomes.com
